I Wish I Was Allergic to Gluten

I'm gonna say this at the beginning, because a lot of the time people just skim my post.
I KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
Haha, no I don't care. When I'm tired I skim.
But anyway, if you want me to follow you, just ask. I don't want anyone to feel like I'm not being fair.
I can't go through every person that comments me and add them, because half the time it's someone that never comes back to my blog. So they're getting my comment love, but I'm not getting any.

Tiffany didn't behave last night. She freaked out by the door and everything.
But I tricked her by giving her treats. I grabbed her and forced her under the blankets and held her in my arms so that she couldn't move.
The end result?

I call it zzzzz.
She stayed there the rest of the night, curled up in my arms purring. She woke up a couple times, looked at me, licked my arm, and then curled up even tighter and went back to sleep.
Because of this, she lives another day.

But anyway, went to school today. Learned me some books.
Math is actually cake for me right now. It's sort of surprising. I even answered a question right that no one else in the class did.
"Where does the line intercept?"
Everyone: "FOOOOOOOUR."
Me staring blankly at the teacher after everyone stopped saying four: "Zero, four."

He smirked at me and then said I was right. I was like booya biznatches. That'll teach you for giving me dirty looks when you think I'm not looking.
My history teacher's mean, though.
I hadn't eaten breakfast yet. I was STARVING. So I got a small bag of gardettos from the vending machine and brought them in to class. I opened them quietly, set them on my desk, they crinkled a teeeeny tiiiiiny bit and he turned around and said "Could we refrain from bringing breakfast into class? It's distracting."
So I had to sit there STARING AT MY OPEN GARDETTOS for an hour and a half, but I couldn't touch them.
Torture much?
So I took them to my sociology class and she couldn't give a crap about it. It helps that I'm good about particpating in class and staring her down.
Yeah, I stare all my teachers down. It's my way of showing them I'm listening.
Or pretending to listen and I'm just reeeeeally good at staring.

But now onto the title of this post.
There's a guy in my history class that sits in front of me named Mark.
He's nice, kind of the same gamer-type I usually hang out with.
But after history he walked me to my sociology class and then we made plans to go to lunch.
So we go to lunch with my other friend KC, and then he tells us he's allergic to gluten.
I'm happy we went to Denny's. At least Denny's has eggs and hashbrowns and stuff, so he could eat.
But he said it's so hard for him to put on weight because he's allergic to gluten.
Damn, I wish I had that problem.
It would also keep me from eating a lot of unhealthy processed crap.
It's like god's way of saying "You're a chosen one... I will protect you from the deadly over-processed food by causing you to have stomach cysts if you eat iiiiiiiiit!"

Then we left and KC and I went to spanish.
That class is so... I don't have a word for it. It's actually not boring. It's just extremely long.
I like that she always has us split into groups. I work a lot better with my peers that have the same troubles as me. We can work through it together as opposed to feeling stupid for asking a question.
Plus my teacher likes me. Probably because I volunteer a lot.
Let's look back on this blog post and determine something: Lee is a brown-noser.
But I could care less. If it helps me pass through school I will take my title with pride.
I volunteered to answer a question that I didn't even know.
"I'll do it! ... oh crap."
She spoon-fed me the answer and still congratulated me when I got it. Oh well, you win some you lose some.

I also found a bruise on the back of my head. No idea where I got it, but I did learn something from it. It hurts to poke bruises. *poke* Ow. *poke* OW. *poke* WHY DO I KEEP POKING IT?

Keeping up to pace with yesterday's post, here's the picture of my hair and my outfit. Sadly, I deleted the one of the back of the shirt. The top of the back is opened up and it has two strips of criss-cross fabric. Woo open-backed shirts!

As is customary now thanks to Yaya:

And of course, my Wordle:
If I haven't commented your blog yet, don't worry. I'm doing it all tonight before bed. I just have to rush off. Got a message from my Left 4 Dead buddy Jessie: "GET ON!"

I Believe We May Have a Problem Here

I can't find any jeans that fit me.
Seriously, is it so hard to make a pair of size 7 jeans that are like a size 9 in the legs?
I mean jeese people. Girls nowadays have thighs. They don't have twigs.

I got so desperate that I actually had to rubber band my belt loops together.
That's how baggy my pants are.
My mom and I went to Ross today hoping to find jeans.
I actually found some nice gray ones that weren't completely atrocious in the thighs department.
I think Ross is the most amazing store in the history of the universe.
Why?
I found some Harajuku Lovers shoes for 15 bucks.
Considering that brand sells 75 dollar onesies, that's a steal.
I didn't get them. They were ugly.
But I still found them.
That counts, right?

Plus my jeans originally retailed for 50 bucks, and I got them for 12.
Along with the three shirts I got.

Anyway, I found some jeans and some tops. Got my hair cut, too. I'll show you a picture tomorrow.
Right now I'm nursing a migraine and it's taking every ounce of my amazingness to sit here and crank out this blog post of awesomeness.
You heard me right, folks. I've got amazingness AND awesomeness.
I'm just one cool chick.
DID YOU SEE THAT? I THREW ANOTHER ELEMENT INTO THE MIX. I'M CAAAARAZY.

Yeah, see. I'm showing how tired I am.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I pissed off this gamestop guy today. I went in, loitered for 20 minutes while my mom got her hair cut, asked his advice on like 50 games, and then didn't buy anything.
In my defense, I was planning to. But my mom was holding my cash hostage in the car, and in her words "I AM HUNGRY AND WE ARE GOING HOME."
Hungry Mom - 1
Game-Starved Lee - 0

Boooo. I call a recount.

I've come to terms with the fact that I compulsively weigh myself now. I actually walked off in the middle of playing xbox just to weigh myself.
I weighed 125 with my clothes, so yay. But when I realized what I'd done I was ashamed of myself.
Doesn't help that our new neighbor brought us cupcakes.
I think it wasn't a nice gesture. I think they saw me and went "I'm going to make her fat. YOU JUST WATCH. I'LL DO IT."
They probably have some kind of neighborhood pool. Next thing you know baskets of summer sausages and goldfish crackers will be on our doorstep.
That would be my downfall. I ate a whole bag of goldfish crackers by myself today.
I even poured the crumbs into my mouth. And then I sat there staring at the 1000 calorie bag and thought "What have I done?!"

I haven't started my sociology project.
It's not due until next wednesday. I have time. I just don't have the drive.
Plus I'm exhausted because TIFFANY THINKS IT'S FUNNY TO STAY UP FOR HOURS AND MEOW AT THE DOOR BECAUSE SHE WANTS OUT WHILE OTHER PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP.
Hahaha she thinks she's SO FUNNY. So now I wake her up when SHE'S trying to sleep and see how SHE likes it.
I'm petty. I'm competing with a cat. I don't care.
I will win. You'll see.
Drew told me "Well you'll always win, you're bigger than her." and I made a good point.
"She can hurt me without many repercussions. But if I hurt her, it's animal abuse and they'll chop off my hands and go all medieval on me."

Which reminds me for whatever reason. Today on Left 4 Dead, someone asked everyone in the room "If you were in a zombie apolocalypse and could have one hand-held weapon, what would it be?"
Everyone said shot guns, rifles, stuff like that. So then it gets to me, the last person to go.
"I'd get a box of condoms, because then i'd always be safe."
Yeah, everyone was laughing so hard. But I was content about my safety.
Anyway, yeah. That was a random post.
My bad.
Here's my obligatory picture:
And here, of course, is my new blog feature. My wordle for this post:

I Officially Dislike Sociology

I was looking over my first sociology project, and it's like 4 projects rolled into one.
And she's barely explained how to do it. How lame is that?
I wish so whole-heartedly that I could drop the class.
But that would be another setback in my education.
I'm already going to wind up graduating later than I originally wanted, any other setback just isn't worth it.
Except I really, really hate that class.
And spanish, but I REALLY have no choice with that class, since I need four semesters of it.

Okay, you know what? I'm going to take a second to rant and you're going to like it.
You got that?
Good.
I just saw another glade commercial. You know glade.
My peeve is with the Glade Lady.
Here's an example of the Glade Lady:

(If you look real close you'll also notice Flo from the progressive auto-insurance commercials.
Anyway, the thing that bothers me about these commercials is that The Glade Lady is a compulsive liar.
She constantly gets caught lying about why her house smells good, or lying that she baked something when really she just lit a similarly scented candle.
Don't you think eventually her friends would just stop trusting what she says?
Sure, she's lying about candles. But she does it SO often.
And her husband, I mean come on. She lied to him about cleaning the house. Lying to your husband? That's usually a big no-no.
It'd be one thing if she was too exhausted to clean from doing something productive with her day.
But no, she just didn't want to clean because she wanted to go out and have some big fancy day.
Eventually I'd just say "Oh, your house smells like Glade. Awesome." "No no no no, it's not Glade! It's um... it's some special boutique..." "No. It's Glade. Stop denying it. You're a bad liar. No one likes you. We just come over here because sometimes you buy food that you pretend to bake for us to eat. Free food is good food."
And then she'd shoot herself in the face. And it would probably smell like Glade.

What kind of television teaches us that it's okay to be compulsive liars as long as we don't get caught?
In these economic times, it's not cool to make it seem like to be high-class you have to buy everything as expensive as you can.
She even lied about Glade over the phone. Why in the hell bother? Why not just say "I'm in a relaxing bath right now"?
The only reason I bring this up is because another Glade commercial was just on and it always rubs me the wrong way.
But apparently I'm not the only one.
Look up "The Glade Lady" on google and the first three you get are rants about how horrible she is.
The Glade Lady's Web of Lies
The Glade Lady Crosses the Line

Anybody else think that about these commercials? And here's the obligatory picture of me right this second.
Skin masks are fun. It's actually been helping a lot. But since I clogged the drains at the other house, I have to use paper towels to wipe it off.

Btw, I found this cool site called Wordle. You can input the URL of your blog, or paste in your blog post words/any other sort of words. Then it makes a cloud of every word you used, with the ones used the most coming up bigger. I may start doing a wordle for every one of my posts.
So here's my wordle for this post:

OH GOD IT BURNS - Part deux.

This time burning was actually involved.
Because Lee is an idiot.I decided that even though it's 11 at night, I wanted popcorn.
More specifically, Orville Redenbacher light butter popcorn with white cheddar seasoning.
So what did I do?
I did what any other person would do. I went into the kitchen, popped it in the microwave for 2 1/2 minutes, grabbed a soda, and went to my bedroom to chill on the computer until it was done.
Then I heard the DOOT DOOT DOOT of the microwave being finished with it's task and went to reap the rewards of my patience.
And then I experienced the realization that there was black smoke EVERYWHERE.
"MOM. MOM COME HERE. MOM COME HERE RIGHT NOW. MOM. MOM HURRY PLEASE MOM."
"WHAT? WHERE ARE YOU? -turns corner- OH MY GOD."
Yeah, that's right. I burned the hell out of my popcorn.
So much that I'm pretty sure if it'd been in there much longer, it would've been set on fire.
How did I manage to mess up such a simple task?
Well we must go back to my previous house to understand.
It had a built-in wall microwave that was low-wattage. So I had to do my popcorn for 2 1/2 minutes for it to fully pop.
Yeah, our NEW microwave is high-wattage. So it needed to be in there for ONE minute.
I wish I'd thought to get pictures. The ceiling was coated in black smoke. It was eerily pretty.
But then it started to sink and I was choking on it. So that sucked.
The saddest part of this story?
I STILL DON'T HAVE ANY POPCORN. IT'S A TRAVESTY.
What have I learned from this?
Let the professionals handle the microwave.
"Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommy. Make me some popcorn!"
"Do it yourself."
"I ALMOST BURNED THE HOUSE DOWN LAST TIME."

What's even worse is that I've just realized that my skin is totally broken out.
But not like clusters of pimples.
No.
There is one pimple on each face surface.
It's like God went "Okay... do we break out her chin, forehead, or cheeks? Ah screw it, I'm busy. Just do all of it."At least they're flat though. Higher chance of being able to cover them. It's just that I want to be able to walk out of the house without feeling like I need to conceal myself.
I saw a group of girls my age go by and jumped in the uhaul and hid in the corner until they were gone. That's how entirely ashamed of my skin I am.
I've seen girls with tiny white pimples everywhere that go out and don't conceal it. But I'm so ashamed of my own face.
I actually think I have a mild form of body dysmorphic.
Mostly in relation to my weight.
I weigh 124 right now, but constantly think I'm fat. I started crying last night because of it. Because I couldn't hold my gut in to be perfectly flat.
No matter what I've tried I haven't found a way to be happy with my self image. I hide behind video games because it's easy to "fake" pretty on there.
Guys drool over girl gamers whether they're pretty or not.
Although they tend to assume this is the average girl gamer:Even she doesn't have acne.
Ugh.

I hope one day I can truly love myself. But right now, kinda don't.

OH GOD IT BURNS

Since I have nothing to write about, I thought I'd give you a video of a cat that hates being touched.
I'll probably have stuff to write about tomorrow, but literally all I've done today is lay in bed.

I love how when she finally touches him, he FREAKS OUT.
So laugh, enjoy. I know that I sure did.

Actually I think I'll try to write something of substance. Somehow.

I've been told I'm self-absorbed. That actually really hurt me. Yeah, sometimes when I'm stressed I go to my friends in hopes that they'll help me.
I help them when they need it. It's always a two-way relationship.
So why is it they then decide to turn around and insult me like that?

I spent 6 hours looking for something for a friend of mine. It had to be perfect for the person they were giving it to. Just perfect.
Did I have to do that? No. I mean, what do I get from it? A thank you.
So seriously, people need to check themselves and realize that sometimes saying something like that can really change a relationship.

Sometimes people say things without even thinking about the repercussions. They just say what comes to mind, and don't think about the lasting effects of it.
I still remember the first time Drew called me a bitch. And that was a long time ago. But it stuck.
I'll remember the first person to call me self-absorbed.
I'll probably remember the last. Because they're going to be the first one killed on my murderous rampage.
I kid, I kid.
Or do I?

Anyway, if you take anything from this post, just realize that sometimes saying something will stick forever, and it will most likely come back to haunt you later on.
And since apparently I've become known for this, here's a pic of me right now.
I look like I have a disease. Woooo.

Hola, mi llamo Lee. Soy de Las Vegas!

It's actually starting to stick, guys.
It's actually sticking!
I can say a full 5 sentences introducing myself.
I can say "excuse me". - Perdon. (I need an accent mark. Bite meh.)
What I memorized is "Hola, mi llamo Lee. Soy de Las Vegas. Yo soy un estudiante en CSN. Mi professora es Theo Byrns. Mi clase de espanol es a las dos de la tarde."

Hello, my name is Lee. I am from Las Vegas. I am a student at CSN. My professor is Theo Byrns. My spanish class is at 2 pm.

But enough about ESPANOL.
Oh wait, I volunteered today to read a whole spanish paragraph. Totally did it.
I had no idea what the friggidity frack I said, but I did it.
Oh, and she had us come up to the board and write out numbers.
One of them someone spelled "Biente nueve."
I was like no wtf. So I went up to the board and corrected it.
"veintenueve."
Hells yes.
My teacher was like "good job!"
And then she gave me a trick question and I failed. I was like boooo.
But I knew I failed it. It was like a 50/50 shot of getting it right.

Anywho. Went to pick up stix with my friend Melora. Had too much fun picking up stix.Melora is so much fun to be around. We have intelligent conversations, but we can also screw around like that.
"Look I'm a wooly mammoth!"
Except it sounded like "Loof I'm a ooly ammoth!"This is me being totally amazed at our food. We both got chow mein. We both agreed that we wish it had been better.
Personally I've learned my lesson. You want chow mein? Go to panda express.
But we don't HAVE a panda express around here. Whic...
I think someone stole my free whopper coupon.
It's not in my wallet.
Oh no wait there it is.

I'm seriously pissed at my mom now.
"What do you want for dinner?" "Let me think about it." -An hour later- "I want burger king." "No."

Thanks. Don't ask what I want if you're just going to ignore what I want and get whatever the hell you want.
She got what she wanted last night. Mexican food. I hate mexican food.Anyway, here's me and Melora again.
Everything during the day was pretty boring. Hopefully things start to look up.
But right now I'm going to go beat my mom with a frying pan until she goes and gets me a whopper.
Cuz I want it my way.
Edit: All is well on the mom front. I get gyros now.

It's so tiny!

My new room is practically like a walk in closet.
I can't walk anywhere without either bumping into
A. My desk
B. My nightstand
C. My bed
D. A Wall

My desk is actually makeshift right now. My mom and I have decided that I really do need new bedroom furniture for functionality and not just to make my room "pretty".
I got my book shelves all set up, walked out of the room, heard CRASH, came back, the shelves had fallen out of the whole unit.
Books everywhere.
Set it up with the shelves switched levels, thinking maybe I put the wrong shelf there.
CRASH.
It was almost infuriating. I had unpacked EVERYTHING. Essentially my room should be fully functioning. But those shelves are out to get me.
Oh, and I set up my "desk" too low, so I'm hunched over it.
I didn't have any internet on Monday.
You know, it's a helpless feeling when you're staring at your computer going "I should check my ema... oh right."
I hate that. You have a computer, but it's pretty much a useless lump without the internet.

I've got spanish homework to do, but I'm soooo laaaaazy. I don't want to do it.
I have to write 5 sentences introducing myself.
Then I have to read this whole page of spanish and answer questions about it.

Pregunta, La Profesora...
How the hell am I supposed to do that when you've only taught us grammar, and not actual words?
I can say like 3 words in spanish. She's always more concerned with grammar.
I've learned a few phrases, too.
De donde eres?
Where are you from?

Me llamo
My name is

Me llama
My llama

Kidding

Me llama
Call me

No tengo respuesta
I have no answer (I say that one quite a bit in class)

The most useful thing I've learned is el papel and un lapice.
That way when I'm in mexico I can say "¿Tiene usted el papel y un lapice?"
"Do you have paper and a pencil?"
That way I can draw exactly what I need.

My homework is to write 5 sentences in spanish introducing myself. I think I'll crank it out right here for you all to see.
"Hola, me llamo Lee. Soy de Las Vegas. Yo soy un estudiante en CSN. Ensalada es mi favorito comida. Mi favorito color es rojo."
Hello, my name is Lee. I am from Las Vegas. I am a student at CSN. Salad is my favorite meal. My favorite color is red.

Which is a lie. But rojo is the only thing I could remember.
Wanna here me say it?
Click here and download the audio file. That's the best I can do at the moment.

Back to my bedroom. Here's a pic of it:
Spiffy, right? I need posters really bad. The walls look so blank.
Oh, and Tiffany sleeps in my room now. What you don't see is the litter box next to my bed, along with her bed.
Except she thinks my bed is her bed, which is why I had a cat crawling all over me in the middle of the night.
I'm pretty sure I head butted her at one point. But she didn't care. She didn't whine at all, and usually she always whines to get out of my room.
I think she realized that this was her new room. She was pretty calm about the whole situation. Infact she's in my bed right now. Probably claiming the territory. And here's me in my room:
I think I'm allergic to something. Because last night and today my skin's been all red and puffy.

I'm going to go finish my spanish homework. Woo!
Lol, I just noticed I lost another follower.
Oh well.
