Buses Are Confusing

Since Drew's parents decided to be the worst people in the universe AGAIN, my weekend was almost ruined.
AGAIN.
Drew even asked ahead of time if they would pick him up from my house, but they decided yesterday that it would be just so damn fun to go on a hike instead of following through with what I've been trying to do for 3 weeks.
Seriously, what kind of parents are these?
So I've told Drew he's taking the bus to get here.
Which sucks, since he lives 30 miles away. It'll take him 2 1/2 hours to get here via bus, but he'll get here, and that's what matters.
I was so furious with those people yesterday. They think they're just inconveniencing him, but they don't even think about the fact that TWO PEOPLE are relying on these plans.
Ugh, inconsiderate people.
I hope they somehow read this.
They're horrible parents, they really are. Instead of helping Drew get a job, they shipped him off to Wyoming.
They never take him to the doctor. They constantly scream at him.
He forgets to clean the cat box? They take the computer keyboard.
Enough about them. They aren't worth talking about.

Anyway, I planted some seeds in my garden outside a little over a week ago, and now rows of sprouts have come up, which is really exciting. And our grape vine has come back to life from it's winter sleep. It's COVERED in green.Aren't they pretty?
You can even see where the little grape bunches are coming in.Our backyard is primarily a food-producing backyard now. We have tomato, strawberry, cucumber, peppermint, dill, bell pepper, cilantro, basil, parsley, peach tree, apricot tree, and the grape vine.
Plus we have this tree that produces cherry-like fruits, but we're not actually sure if they're cherries. We had one over at the other house, and we'd eat those too.
So we have a lot of food in the backyard.
Plus I planted the rows of seeds for other flowers. I've never had sprouts make it farther than sprouts, so I'm excited and hoping that they actually bloom!

But back onto the topic of buses. I had to set up the bus route for Drew, since he never gets on top of that crap. And let me tell you, buses are seriously confusing.
He takes one ALLLLLL the way up to the CSN Cheyenne campus, which is really far from my house. He gets off that bus, gets on another one and goes ALLLLLL the way west until he hits my house.
2 1/2 hour trip.
If his parents would've picked him up, it would be a 30 minute trip.
How many of you take the bus?
I would love to, but I have this anxiety about getting lost or confused.
Then I'd have to be a prostitute and sell myself on the street corner to get home.
And then I'd have to learn a trade to get out of this two-bit town.
Yada yada Flash Dance meets Pretty Woman.
The bus is really cheap, but it takes forever to get where you need to go.
But hell, when I turn 18 I can start using the bus to get wherever I need to go.

I also went to the chiropractor yesterday and today. He took xrays, unlike the other chiropractor I went to last year.
For the record, the above xrays aren't mine. I snagged them from a chiropractic site.
But what the doctor found is that the "loss of curve" is my neck.
He asked if I'd ever been in a car accident, and I haven't. I haven't been in any accidents.
So yeah, that's not really good.
And my back does the same thing, except instead of being straight, it curves in a V shape.
It goes down in the first curve, and then sharply back the other direction.
So that's not really good either.
I have to come in 3 times a week for 3 weeks to see if he's helping me any.
I think he just likes giving me bear hugs and cracking me all to hell.

Remember the roll table the other guy had? Well this guy has roll tables AND massage chairs.
He puts you in the chair/table first to loosen you up before he cracks you.
He also puts these little electric shock things on you to get the blood circulating. It feels soooo good altogether.

So that's how the past few days have gone.
I would do a little jig for you, but that requires me using energy, and it's just not worth it.

Eek! Chiropractors creep me out! All that cracking, blah.

Yes, buses are extremely confusing. I'm always so thankful I have a car.

That sucks his parents wouldn't bring him.

And I'm so jealous of your garden!

I loved going to the chiro. I haven't been in ages. Sorry that Drew's parents wouldn't work with you.

I need to see a chiropractor. I have lower back issues.

And buses do suck!

I worked for a chiropractor for six years. I hope he helps you feel better!

And I love the little sprouts. It's so fun to watch something grow that you planted yourself.

I have to go back to my chiropractor for the first time in forever. The doctors think maybe he can do something to my neck area to help alleviate some of the concussion pain. It is SO worth a shot, plus he is super nice and knows the whole family.

You will have so much yummy food to eat in the next few months, lucky!! We have finally managed to get tomatoes to grow in our yard so we will plant those again, I LOVE native tomatoes!

Why does it take him 2.5 hours by bus, but with his parents, only 30 minutes? I am so confused. Never ridden a bus, not available in my town!

Oh man that sucks about your computer, I hope it is fixed and all soon. >< Also Drew's parents seem to really suck and I think I understand now why he is why he is sometimes. Parents can do a real number on their kids. :(
