Q & A - Ask!

I got my history test back today.
I got a 94.
94!
Out of 500!
Kidding!

I got an AAAA. I got an AAAAAAAA.
Sorry, I'm just freaking excited.
It's like when a stripper finally gets her degree and can stop riding the pole for tips.
It's an exciting day.

But that doesn't matter right now.
What does matter is colleges.
Apparently I have to start applying to Universities soon.
That's what my mom says at least.

So, since I have such a diverse group of readers, I'm going to ask you all:
Which colleges do you think I should apply to?
I wanted to apply to Brown. Until I realized it's Ivy League. I can't afford that.
I was like "Brown!" And my mom went "But that's in Arkansas!"
She was thinking of John Brown University, a Baptist university.

Think of any University that you think would fit an English major.
And a University that would actually accept me.
I have to retake my SAT because I got a lower score on it. (I'd never formally had highschool math, and that's what I bombed).
Luckily I got my ace in the hole with my whole "I was 15 in college" shtick. Lucky me. I'm privileged.

So if you guys could help, it would be so appreciated. I've never ventured into the world of colleges, so I have no idea what to look for.
(Community college doesn't count, that was easy. Like a cheap hooker.)

Now, to the title of this post.
I've decided that while you know about mundane details of my life (Wow, she ate turkey yesterday!), you guys don't really know the core things about me.
So, today I ask you to leave a question, or two, or fifty that you'd like me to answer.
You can ask me ANYTHING that you'd like to know! I am an open book.
(I'm like Moby Dick, without being boring.)
Tomorrow, once I get home from visiting with my niece and her girlfriend (Yes, my niece is a lesbian, and we love her to death), I'll answer the questions here.
So ask away, and have fun with it!Now ASK QUESTIONS.
DO IT.

Pero el chico no es mi hijo!

The title of this post is a line out of a famous song.
That I translated into spanish.
I actually did it without even thinking, which was cool. I realized I was singing the chorus in spanish, and when I went online and double checked that I was using the right words, I was proud of myself.
Guessed the song yet?
No?
Pulled out google translate, you little cheaters?
No?
Lemme break it down for you then.
Pero - But
el chico - the kid
no es - is not
mi hijo - my son

Now sing it and start moon-walkin', because you're Michael Jackson, and you subsequently knocked up Billie Jean! In spanish!
Billie Jean is not my lover, she's just a girl that thinks that I am the one. But the kid is not my son!

Just for the record, famous songs translated into Spanish is not the topic of today's post.
Instead, today's post will focus on whatever the hell I feel like focusing on.
If I want to talk about rocks, we're talking about rocks.
This is MY BLOG.

I should actually do the majority of this post about rocks.
Then those people that just skim my posts will be like "Yeah, I like rocks too!"
And then I can CALL YOU OUT, SKIMMERS.No no, I wouldn't do that.
(Yes I would)

Let's start the actual blog post with an account of my weekend.
I'll condense it, for the sake of all humanity.
On Friday my dad came over, we watched movies, did what we always do.
Tiffany was super-b*tch this entire weekend though.
That night she started getting out of her bed and walking around my room and causing mayhem.
She'd meow and meow. I finally threw a pillow at her and she crawled back into her bed.
Yeah, see? I'll make a great parent.
"MOMMY I'M HUNGRY" *throws pillow*
That'll show 'em.

On Saturday Drew took the bus up here, and we played video games and fought about petty things.
I don't know why we do it. I don't know why we do it AGAIN 5 minutes later. We always manage to have these stupid arguments.
But I always win.
I'm dominant.
I'm like the lioness, and he's the gazelle.
Except instead of ripping into his jugular, I question his manhood.
Same thing if you really think about it.
(Drew, if you read this, which you might end up doing, laugh and realize it's a JOKE)
(Or else you're a little girl)
(Oh sh*t I did it again)
We did have a fun time, though. We're so used to having stupid fights that we blow them off.
In the end, he left his sunglasses at my house.
So I did what any good friend would do. I said finders keepers and wore them to school.
In fact, just to be mean, I wore them everywhere.
Of course I'm giving them back tomorrow, but I had to get my Lee germs all over them first.
*wipes nose, wipes glasses*
I kid, I kid.Mi cabeza tiene en dolor! (Someone tell me if that's correct. My head is in pain.)

Okay, on a side note, my mom just answered the phone saying "Obi Wan, are you with the force?!"
I love my mom.

On Sunday I went to church. Just decided it was time to go back.
Plus I wanted to wear something pretty, and sweats eating ice cream in my bedroom just weren't cuttin' it.
After the rousing time of singing hymns...
Ahaha, why lie about church?
My old friends and I went outside and stood there and talked the entire service.
Boo hiss on me, but my belief is that I pray every night, and God isn't going to judge me for standing outside of the church.
And if he does... well there's nothing I can do about it in the end, huh?

Anyway, after a rousing day of standing, I came home and did what I do best in this world.
I could get an award for this...
I slept. I was actually in the process of passing out when I took this picture.
I don't even remember taking it to be honest, I woke up with my phone smooshed to my face and "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" playing in my earphones.

And now it's today. And today was just... nothingness. History test, I'm going for a B.
Sociology half-project. First group finished, so score there.
And now we're here.
I'm itching to go lay down and watch the seasons of Robot Chicken I downloaded to my flash drive to play on my xbox.

So here's my current pics:My skin's a little red from my medicine, but I know you guys don't judge me.
And here's Tiffany's current pics. She's sitting on my desk looking out the window.

Happy Easter Everyone!

This post will be moderately short and sweet, because Easter dinner is almost on the table, and I'm studying for the history test that I have tomorrow.
Oh mother frickin' joy, huh?

Today I went to church.
Gasps can be heard around the world when I say that.
Everyone at church didn't believe I was actually there.
Someone said that they thought they were hallucinating when I walked through the door.
As I said before, I chose never to go back to that church.

I'm such a pussy.
I can never follow through with what I say I will.

Tomorrow, after school and after my test I'm going to be zoned out.
But because I'll just be laying down, I'm going to have time to actually blog for once.

Hey, at least I'm still as consistent as possible. I'm almost up to 200 posts already.

My niece and her girlfriend are coming to town on Wednesday, so we're going to see them on Thursday.
I'll try my best to get some pics with them.
I've never met her girlfriend, so it'll be nice. They've been together for a loooong time.

So to leave on a high note, I frequent perezhilton.
That's not the high-note.
Since a lot of you don't go to his site, I figure you haven't seen this.
Especially since I don't have a large british reader-base.
But you guys need to watch this video. It is so inspiring, and I think a great thing to see on Easter.
It has nothing to do with Easter, sure. But it's heart-warming. It teaches us to never judge people based on their looks. The second you do that, you could miss out on the greatest person to walk into your life.

Amazing Video

Oh, I do have one other thing to talk about.
I've realized that the V-curve in my spine has made me lose 1-3 inches of height.
I used to be 5'9", but I measured myself yesterday and came to be 5'6"
That can't be good, huh?
If anything I could turn into a hunchback, which would suck.
But then I wouldn't have to pay for Halloween costumes.
Score 1 for Lee.

Is it just me, or are my posts not as funny as they should be?
I need my sarcasm back.
Quick, someone piss me off so that I start slurring sarcastic remarks at you!

Oh, and since I had to wipe my computer (ugh, ugh WHY GOD WHY?!) I don't have Paint Shop. So until I FIND MY CD I can't make backgrounds.
Or edit pictures.
Sooo, here's my current picture straight from my lovely camera phone:

Technical Difficulties

This post is coming to you directly from my ipod. I had been using hp technical support to fix my computer.
They broke it.
The sneaky little bastards.
I had to wipe my computer back to factory everything. Tomorrow it'll be fixed. Right now it has none of my blog programs. So I can't do a real post.
Until tomorrow I'll be relying on Apple.
Screw you microsoft.

Drew came over today. I'll tell you about that tomorrow.
Hugs and kisses.

Screw you, HP!

Buses Are Confusing

Since Drew's parents decided to be the worst people in the universe AGAIN, my weekend was almost ruined.
AGAIN.
Drew even asked ahead of time if they would pick him up from my house, but they decided yesterday that it would be just so damn fun to go on a hike instead of following through with what I've been trying to do for 3 weeks.
Seriously, what kind of parents are these?
So I've told Drew he's taking the bus to get here.
Which sucks, since he lives 30 miles away. It'll take him 2 1/2 hours to get here via bus, but he'll get here, and that's what matters.
I was so furious with those people yesterday. They think they're just inconveniencing him, but they don't even think about the fact that TWO PEOPLE are relying on these plans.
Ugh, inconsiderate people.
I hope they somehow read this.
They're horrible parents, they really are. Instead of helping Drew get a job, they shipped him off to Wyoming.
They never take him to the doctor. They constantly scream at him.
He forgets to clean the cat box? They take the computer keyboard.
Enough about them. They aren't worth talking about.

Anyway, I planted some seeds in my garden outside a little over a week ago, and now rows of sprouts have come up, which is really exciting. And our grape vine has come back to life from it's winter sleep. It's COVERED in green.Aren't they pretty?
You can even see where the little grape bunches are coming in.Our backyard is primarily a food-producing backyard now. We have tomato, strawberry, cucumber, peppermint, dill, bell pepper, cilantro, basil, parsley, peach tree, apricot tree, and the grape vine.
Plus we have this tree that produces cherry-like fruits, but we're not actually sure if they're cherries. We had one over at the other house, and we'd eat those too.
So we have a lot of food in the backyard.
Plus I planted the rows of seeds for other flowers. I've never had sprouts make it farther than sprouts, so I'm excited and hoping that they actually bloom!

But back onto the topic of buses. I had to set up the bus route for Drew, since he never gets on top of that crap. And let me tell you, buses are seriously confusing.
He takes one ALLLLLL the way up to the CSN Cheyenne campus, which is really far from my house. He gets off that bus, gets on another one and goes ALLLLLL the way west until he hits my house.
2 1/2 hour trip.
If his parents would've picked him up, it would be a 30 minute trip.
How many of you take the bus?
I would love to, but I have this anxiety about getting lost or confused.
Then I'd have to be a prostitute and sell myself on the street corner to get home.
And then I'd have to learn a trade to get out of this two-bit town.
Yada yada Flash Dance meets Pretty Woman.
The bus is really cheap, but it takes forever to get where you need to go.
But hell, when I turn 18 I can start using the bus to get wherever I need to go.

I also went to the chiropractor yesterday and today. He took xrays, unlike the other chiropractor I went to last year.
For the record, the above xrays aren't mine. I snagged them from a chiropractic site.
But what the doctor found is that the "loss of curve" is my neck.
He asked if I'd ever been in a car accident, and I haven't. I haven't been in any accidents.
So yeah, that's not really good.
And my back does the same thing, except instead of being straight, it curves in a V shape.
It goes down in the first curve, and then sharply back the other direction.
So that's not really good either.
I have to come in 3 times a week for 3 weeks to see if he's helping me any.
I think he just likes giving me bear hugs and cracking me all to hell.

Remember the roll table the other guy had? Well this guy has roll tables AND massage chairs.
He puts you in the chair/table first to loosen you up before he cracks you.
He also puts these little electric shock things on you to get the blood circulating. It feels soooo good altogether.

So that's how the past few days have gone.
I would do a little jig for you, but that requires me using energy, and it's just not worth it.

Hannah Montana: The Movie

I never thought I'd be caught dead at Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Since I've been asked a few times to give my opinion on it, I will gladly oblige.

First things first, here is a summary of the movie (look at me getting all professional and shiz):
Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana has lived her life as a normal girl that lives out her dream as a popstar when she puts on a wig and lots of makeup and crap.
(No one said my summary would be professional, it's just the truth.)
One day, because her publicist thinks she's god or something, she gives Miley a big head and while she is disguised as Hannah Montana she gets into a shoe fight with Tyra Banks. They both want the same shoes, they wrestle, sh*t gets crazy.
After this, her dad thinks that she's let Hannah become too dominant in her life and her and her family go to Tennessee to be with family for two weeks to see if she still has the country girl side to her.

Okay, that's the basic plot. She's got multiple personalities (eek, get some meds for that girl), and needs some sense knocked into her.
That being said, the show itself has been popular with 6-12 year olds. So, as expected, when I showed up the theatre was overun with little kids.
I literally was one of the only teenagers in the room. Whenever one walked in I went "LOOK DAD, THERE'S ANOTHER ONE!!!"
But, the movie itself was actually really cute.
My dad didn't fall asleep during it. He even fell asleep during James Bond, so that's a good sign.
He said that it was cute and "watchable".
I really liked the music from it. Some of the music at least. The scene where she does this hoe-down that's also hip-hop is really cute.

There are some parts that adults would just roll their eyes at. I did. I rolled my eyes.
But there's some other scenes that adults would laugh at just as much as the kids.
The scene where Miley's father is trying to impress a girl and ends up breaking everything is really funny.

If you don't like teenager romance stuff, you probably would roll your eyes a LOT at this movie. She has a love interest that is present throughout the whole movie.
Plus the heartwarming stuff can be a bit bleh at times, but that's for MOST Disney movies.

All in all, it's a cute movie and it's worth taking the kids to go see. If someone asked me to see it again, I wouldn't say no.
Plus I like free movies.
Totally counting that as my "current" pic since I just took those pictures.
Definitely like the brunette one better.

About the psychologist... I'm going to one more session. If she tries to diagnose me bipolar again, I'm switching to someone else. She's REALLY sweet, but sweet doesn't mean she can help me in the areas I need help.

p.s. SOMEONE PLEASE TEACH ME HOW TO TWITTER! I'M A QUICK LEARNER!

Shelby, This is for You

You missed out tonight, you can suck it.
(love you)

Went to my first Psychology appointment today.
Officially banned my mom from coming in after anymore appointments.
Pretty much undid the happy feeling I had.
At least the content feeling I had.

Freaking psychologist invited her in, and my mom told her that I verbally abuse her that I don't contribute around the house. And that I call her names.
Way to make me sound like a brat to the psychologist, mom.
And to be honest, I don't volunteer around the house because whenever I used to, she would turn around and just redo what I did.
When I packed up my room to move here, she repacked all of the boxes.
And then the psychologist said I'm bipolar.
Based on what, you may ask?
She asked how I feel all the time.
I said some days I'm happy, some days I'm sad, sometimes I'm a little bitchy.
That doesn't mean I'm BIPOLAR. No one can feel constantly happy every single day.
I know each of you has had good days, bad days, in-between days.
I like her, but that kind of rubbed me the wrong way a bit.
And she didn't talk to me enough. She didn't get me to stay on one subject and talk about it.
Wouldn't that help more than hip-hopping through 50 different subjects?

But god I was mad at my mom. I felt attacked, like she was trying to get the psychologist to "fix me".
And THEN because I felt a bit angry and it showed on my face, she said that I REALLY show bipolar tendencies because of how quickly angry I get.
Thanks, thanks. I get attacked in my psychology session, and because that upsets me, I'm bipolar.

And right now my mom is yelling at me because I can't have a "give and take" conversation.
I tried to tell her why I couldn't, and she threw her head back and gave a big sigh.
How am I supposed to "give and take" with that? Seriously?
She says that I blame her for everything, and then she turns around and tells me everything that's wrong with me.
Sometimes I get lippy, every teenager does. I'm not some miracle case of the bitchiest teenager in the world. I'm NORMAL. But because she grew up in a different time, where NO ONE talked back, I'm an oddity.
"My other kids would NEVER talk to me like that."
Sure, back then. When you could smack them across the face if they got lippy.
You do that now, I'll call the police for assault. And trust me, I'll do it. I'm not going to be hit by anyone for anything.

So psychology visit was bust, since instead it just told me how HORRIBLE a child I am.
And then when I say I feel attacked, they both sit there and say I'm being irrational.
If you're going to indirectly attack me, and then act like you didn't, don't come in my sessions. Get your own damn appointment and vent then. My time is not for you.

Then I went home and my dad took me to Hannah Montana.
We talked in the car and he talked about how my mom needs to let me out more to see my friends.
Which is SO blanking TRUE.
I said blanking because the word on my mind is unsavory.
Seriously, I never had a childhood. I barely had a teenagerhood.
My life from 13 on has been SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL.
Homeschooled, no friends. College, no one my age.
It's not fair to lock me up because you think I'll be kidnapped the second I step out the door.

Anyway, we went to the movie. The guy that gave us the advanced tickets told me that he'll get me advanced tickets to see New Moon.
I was like dude, screw Drew and Shelby. You're my new best friend.
i love you drew and shelby

And to those of you that have said Drew is toxic, to be honest since this is my blog and my place to vent, you see one side of the relationship. The side that I vent about.
When we fight, half the time it's because I started it because I was in a bad mood.
Other times, it's his fault. But we've always bickered, and we've always made up 10 minutes later. That's our dynamic, and we're trying to change it, but it still works for us.

Proof that he's not a bad guy, just makes bad choices? I walked out of the theater after the movie to see Drew standing there smiling and walking over to give me a hug.
He came all the way to the theater and waited outside just to give me a hug and see me for two minutes.
So yeah, sometimes he says and does some hurtful things, but I'm guilty of that myself.
He shouldn't call me names, he's working on that. Hasn't called me one in two days.
So just give him a chance, guys. And realize that even if I'm venting about someone, that doesn't mean they're horrible. It just means you're seeing the bad side to the relationship.

And since I see him once a month, it's hard to give you the good side. But there is a good side. All day everyday we're texting, laughing, talking. Thirty minutes of that max is spent in petty fights.
Don't judge him based on these short fights that we have, judge him on the other 12 hours he spends making me smile and laugh.

After the movie we came home and I wrote 2 paragraphs for sociology. Our assignment was inequality based on race. I was supposed to write a story about a time when I experienced inequality based on my race.
I was like what the hell do I write about, I'm white.
I'm whiter than white.
My damn psychologist asked me if I ever go out in the sun.
But then it hit me. I do get discriminated against.
During the election last year, because I chose McCain, I was called racist by EVERYONE that I talked to.
Because I am white and chose not to vote for a black man, that made me a bad person.
So that's what I wrote my paper about.

So that's been my day.
AMAAAAZING.
