What inspired you to start a blog at such a young age?
My friend Angela had a blog, and I wanted a place where I could vent my emotions and make some new friends. At the time she was really into blogging, so I thought I would hop on board.
Since I'm a journalism major, it's good for me to write consistently, even if it's just a silly blog post.
I've had a lot of trouble in my life. A lot of emotional trauma, which explains my fear. Being mentally scarred causes many other problems later in life, which seems to be manifesting now. Having a blog gives me a place to talk to people that listen, which is really important to me.
How did you get into the photo/audio/video editing? What sparked that?
You know, honestly, I have no idea. I know that throughout most of my teenage life I've enjoyed photo editing. That morphed into graphics editing. Once I got a computer with a webcam, Shelby and I started messing around with videos. That turned me on to video editing.
So I'm sort of a triple threat. Graphics, photos, videos. I'm teaching myself how to draw now. It probably won't end well, but if it does I can even create my own images to use in graphics.
I also like taking random quirky pictures.
Are the people you call mom and dad on your blog your biological parents or your grandparents?
Mom and dad are my grandparents. My biological mother is not in my life, and my biological father lives in California.
I was adopted when I was 4 so that my grandparents could protect me from some of the bad people in my life. They're who I've lived with ever since.
What majors are you interested in? What do you want to do once you graduate?
Currently I am a journalism major. My goal is to finish my associates in Journalism. I haven't decided the specific job that I'm going to seek. I'm interested in public relations and editing. In order to become an editor, I'd have to work as a writer for a long time. So we'll see where that goes.
How old were you when you got your first bike?
I was 2 or 3 years old. It was a little tricycle. I rode it everywhere that I could.
What other Obsessions do you have aside from Twilight?
I have OCD, so technically a lot of things become obsessions. Right now my fear is my obsession. When I first developed this fear, Twilight was the obsession that edged it out. Now that Twilight isn't new, I need to find something new to obsess over that's healthier than a fear. Anyone know a new trend worth freaking out over?
Do you have one thing you used to royally hate about yourself that you don't hate any more?
I used to hate my skin. Honestly, it is still REALLY annoying that I have to wear makeup to cover up my blemishes. The difference is how I cover them. Now I wear makeup and call it a day. I used to wear my greasy, stringy teenage hair over my skin. I thought this was a clever way to hide my issues.
Yeah, not so much. Now I've just come to accept it instead of hating it.How many movies have you seen in your life?
On average... 3 a week ever since I was 4 years old.
What's your dream car?
My dream car is a car that can drive. 'Nuff said.
What famous celeb do people tell you you look most like?
I hear Kirsten Dunst a lot. Honestly, I don't see it. I get Angelina Jolie a lot, too. Which I also don't see.
Would you ever consider getting plastic surgery (like when you're ALOT older)?
Botox? Yes, maybe. Hardcore surgery? No. I never want to have surgery until it is required. The idea of being put to sleep to be cut open scares me way too much to do it by choice.
What is your favorite flavor of anything Perfume, Ice cream, Fruits, Veggies, Ect?
I like anything that has a fruity scent/flavor. Right now I really enjoy strawberries and cherries. I'm using strawberry shampoo and my hair smells GREAT.
What are a few things you miss that you never thought about before?
I miss when times were simpler. When my thoughts were happy and fun, and every day was something exciting to me. Now I'm so ridiculously consumed with fear that I don't get to enjoy day to day life.
I also miss my first cat, Batcat. I still remember her, and I regret having to give her up when I was so young.
If given the chance to be a vampire would you want to be one?
Yes, especially if I get to spend my eternal life with someone this sexy...What's your fave happy place?
Laying snuggled up in bed with a good movie, plenty of sunlight, and someone that loves me.
That's the best place to be.
Did you get to decide on skipping grades and high school?
My mom pretty much decided all of that for me, but it's worked out for the best in the end. I used to regret it, but college is such a great experience that I much prefer it to high school.
How do you like living in Vegas?
It's okay. For my career in Journalism it may be a good stepping stone. Lots of people need PR. Lots of people need reviews. Plenty of Las Vegas magazines and online webzines.
But, it's expensive and not teen-friendly.
When you are 18 are you going to go away to college or stay where you are?
I'm probably going to the University here in Las Vegas. But I keep getting a lot of letters from colleges. Today I got one from Cornell and some college in California. So I'm keeping an open mind about where I'd like to study.
How is counseling going?
I'm not currently in counseling. Which sucks.
What are your fave current movies?
I like Twilight, obviously. District 9. Star Trek. I haven't been seeing a lot of new movies recently. And the ones I've seen haven't been so great. How did you become a genius???
Scientific experiments. Oh the probing...
If you had one minute with a complete stranger, what would you tell them and why?
Not so much tell, but I would ask them how to achieve happiness. I ask a lot of people that after I've known them for a little while. I hope to put their advice into play in my own life.

I loved this! It was great getting to know more about you.
Great Q and A's. :)
Great answers. :) Journalism sounds fun. I really hope it works for you. I've realized I'm good at fiction, but not at non-fiction. I had to write an article for a local organization recently, and it was tough. :)
It was great getting to know you better! And I LOVE that picture of you looking all natural and gorgeous, staring straight at the camera.
That first pic is awesome! Very cool affect! You are one interesting chick I'm glad blogging is an outlet for you because we love reading about you.
There's not too many young bloggers, at least that I know of, so it's refreshing to hear stories about younger times.
Your Q&A's are always interesting!
Hmmm...so that's how I'll make my future children into geniuses...
Enjoyed this post!
