Tinkerbell!

So apparently no matter what kind of fairy you are, if you're green, you're Tinkerbell.I walked around the fair to children's screams of "Tinkerbell, mommy it's Tinkerbell!!" all day.
Which was fine, really. I was the best fairy there. Slap on a pair of wings and you're a fairy? Pfffft, I don't think so. You have to put in some effort.Oh yeah, baby. I put in some effort.
That hair took FOREVER. I hot glued leaves to bobby pins for my hair. Butterfly stickers on my body, plus the (crappy) butterfly makeup. It looked better in person.

While I was at the fair I forgot to take pictures. Or I was too lazy to. I had a tiny leather pouch, and taking the camera in and out of it was a HUGE pain. I had to pull everything else out at the same time.
Plenty of other people got pictures of me though. A few parents stopped me to ask if their kids could take a picture with me. Of course they always wanted me facing DIRECTLY into the sun.
I was like an attraction in myself. People would gawk at me while I walked by, I'd hear the whispers of "Wow, look at her costume!"
I look so high in that picture. Obviously I'm not. I was squinting into the sun. But still, I look high as a kite.

I bought a couple of things at the fair. I bought henna art of my arm, but it's already fading. Three weeks my ASS.
I bought an ear cuff, since I don't have my ears pierced. We stayed at the fair until about.... 3:30. The plan was 9:00, but it was SO hot. I didn't want a sunburn. We walked down to Burger King... boy was that funny. A few people honked at me. Everyone in Burger King stared.
Then we went to Radio Shack, and then Albertsons, and then Blockbuster, where I got THESE. They taste better because they have Edward's face on them. But anything would taste better that way.
Then we went back to Drew's house and played video games and watched TV until my mom came to pick me up.
Drew's mom gave me a necklace that she made, and I was really happy. My camera sucks at close up shots. It's a fairy! Yep, she made that by hand. She makes a lot of beads, and if you want to buy any she has an etsy shop: Heart of Glass Beads

Anyway, that was my day! And yeah, my skin took a beating yesterday. Damn you makeup!

Your costume turned out so nice! I would never be able to even think of a costume much less pull a nice one together! Isn't it fun going out to public places all dressed up? When I used to dance sometimes I'd go places after the recitals with my recital makeup still on, which is a little different than fairy makeup, but red lipstick and stage makeup is still very noticable...
