Bowling... It's a Sport!

While looking at this post, it's possible that you will say "Jesus, this is a ridiculous amount of pictures."
And you would be right.
But why do I insist on posting every picture we take while out bowling?
Because I like looking at them, and I like remembering every second of our fun times together.
So go ahead, skim the pictures.
Maybe even skip down to the comments.
But know that these pictures are an extension of my memory, and they're important to me.

When we went bowling, our first lane was broken, so we got another game for free. That was pretty great.

Before I start with my crapload of pictures, I thought I'd post real quick about a giveaway Sheri is hosting to commemorate the opening of her new jewelry website!

Go check it out!
First things first, I got a haircut yesterday. I chopped off my hair to shoulder length!
Before going out, Izzy and I put stars on our faces!
When we got to the alley, we hammed it up for the cameras.
Mmm... hammy. Just like Christmas dinner.
We weren't allowed to use flash in the bowling alley, but occasionally it would accidentally go off.
Izzy took a picture of me taking a picture of her. Trippy.
Travis and I had a stare down. I won.
I spent a lot of the night laughing.
And sitting on the floor.
Why was I on the floor in this one? Look closely: The ball is in the gutter.
Why did this picture happen? Probably because Alex was ridiculously drunk. He drank something like 7 rum and cokes. And a smirnoff ice.
He had 8 straws.
He was very drunk.

I tried to maintain good form. Sucked at it though.
There's some of his empty rum and coke glasses.
This wound up being my "pose" for the night.
Travis always has an evil look, doesn't he?
See? Alex has that bowlers form that I've never been able to have.
This was my new "I got a strike" dance.
I'm pretty sure I got a spare on those pins.

There's the thumbs up again. Aren't I creative?
And there's my infamous kicked-out leg. I can't seem to keep from doing that when I throw the ball.
Wub my Izzy.
Told you, he looks evil. It's like his signature look or something.
Stuck out tongue - a classic.
I look like a ghost in the background
I always used the pink ball. It was an 8 pounder. Izzy used the 6. She'd chuck that sucker down the lane.
Me with the thunbs up again. I'm really not that creative.
And AGAIN. You'd think my thumbs would be hurting by then.
I just thought this was cute and pulled out my camera as fast as I could to catch it.

Alex and his twist again. It got more flamboyant the drunker he got.

This picture was fun to take. Alex was so trashed at this point that he started falling over, and knocked me over, and I had to grab on to Travis to keep from completely falling.
I'm drinking coke, minus the rum.

My tilt, in hopes of willing the ball not to go into the gutter.
I was trying to take a pic of myself sitting on the lane.
I took these pictures sitting down on the lane.

Izzy's hands, but I took the picture at the perfect time.
"Wow, I look totally wasted." "That's because you are."
Awww.
AWWW.
She doesn't look as enthusiastic with me. That hurts.
That's more like it.

Another Day, Another Boring Time

I've been sitting around all day.
I got out some clothes to pack for my trip, but other than that, I haven't done anything amazing.
One of my friends made me less hopeful about those jobs.
I told her I was looking for a job, and the first thing she said was "Tough out there isn't it?"
Then she told me about how I probably won't find a job.
Gee, thanks.

But she's right. I probably won't find a job. I have a limited area that I can search in.
I can only get a job within walking distance, and most of the places within walking distance are either asian restaurants or doctors offices.

Can't work at a doctors office, and I can't work at an asian restaurant.
Oh, and a few cleaners.
But the cleaners are run by asians.
So I really can't win there.

Unless I put tape on my face and slant my eyes, but then I'll just get thrown out for racism.
Woo, racism.

My wrist guard is giving me a rash on my hand, which I think is either from rubbing, or it getting wet.

I have a question for all of you.
Izzy and I are thinking of hosting a giveaway on my blog. One free piece of custom jewelry.
Mostly for the exposure to both of our blogs.
Would you all be interested in something like that?
It would probably center around advertising. Post about the giveaway on your blog, and you get entered.
Does that sound good? I know I don't do many giveaways, and actually having the opportunity would be a good thing.
Izzy is working on making Twilight rosaries. I think they'll be pretty neat.

I just found something pretty funny. My dad kind of throws together gifts for my mom's birthday. He works a lot, so he probably forgets.
Plus my parents are separated, so I guess it's not much of an importance to him.
Well he came in and gave her a mug and an angel.
Which is hilarious, because what did I find on Bobby G's blog today?
He got his girlfriend an angel for her birthday.
Almost the exact one my dad got for my mom.
Here's the one Bobby got:
Here's the one my dad got:Pretty funny, huh?

I'm going to get my hair cut today and my eyebrows waxed, so... wish me luck?

I Always Seem to be at the Doctor

Why is it half of my posts revolve around me going to some sort of doctors appointment?
If it's not the chiropractor, it's the psychiatrist, or endocrinologist, or family physician.

Today I went to the family physician, and he just gave me the once-over.
The evil doctor's scale told me 119, which was a hallelujah to me.

Today was spent running around getting job applications on my bike.
I got applications to a mailbox place, subway, starbucks, tropical smoothie cafe, a pizza place, and another mail box place.
I could've had a job on the spot at a sub shop, but I had to be 18.
Or else I'm not allowed to use the meat slicer.
What, you think just because I'm 16 I'm more likely to slice my hand off?
(it's true, I would slice my hand off)

My hope is that one of those first four jobs hires me.
I would love to be a Starbucks barista. I would look cute in the outfit.
Maybe not with a giant pink head, but close enough, right?

I could also work well at postnet. Here's some boxes, I'll package them for you.
What a hard job!Hopefully my age won't hinder me too badly in my search for a job.
I'm handing in all of my applications when I get back from Tennessee.
My legs are throbbing and I'm still catching my breath. I walked/biked at least 3 miles trying to get these applications.

I also have to go get a work permit/health card if I want to work under the age of 18.
Being young is a b*tch.

Popping Should Be Limited to Popcorn

My joints have always been creaky and poppy, but recently my body has been completely out of whack.
My wrist is wrapped up in a brace because I've apparently popped it out of place.
My chiropractor popped it back in twice, but I popped it right back out.
It makes a lovely POP sound whenever I try to use it.
The upside is that the sound makes all of my friends cringe when they hear it.

Not only does it crack, but it throbs. My wrist is pretty much useless right now, and it hurts like a witch.
My leg has also decided to give me trouble.
I think I pulled a muscle in it, so I have to limp to get around.
So I have a gimpy wrist, a gimpy leg, and my shoulder blade has been burning a bit.

On Saturday I went to the mall with Izzy and Travis.
We didn't take many pics, since we only had cellphones, but here's what we got:

The Disney Store:
The seatbelt ate my hair:It was a fun day, except the giant blisters on my feet from my new shoes.
I really have not been having luck with avoiding pain lately.

Drew came over yesterday, and while I don't have any pictures from it, we did have fun.
First I bought some individual pizzas from pizza hut, got some cups and a bottle of soda, and we went to the park and ate at the picnic tables.
Then we went swimming at the Y, and then we came home and watched Twilight.
And Transformers.
I love Transformers. I can't wait until the new one comes out.

I think my anxiety meds have been making me tired. I slept for 11 hours today, and I'm still completely exhausted.
But I wasn't exhausted until I popped my anxiety pills.
Gee, thanks for taking away my fear. But now I'm FREAKING TIRED.

The most ironic part is that one of my other pills has the side effect "anxiety".
Peaches.

I've been keeping my weight around 117. I hit 115 a few days ago, and then 122 that night.
I really, really hate fluctuating weight.
I was 117 this morning, so I'm content with that.

Other than that, nothing new has happened.
So... that was my weekend.

Izzy's Custom Charms

Since no one really reads on the weekends, thought I'd post a quick ad.
I made up a layout last night for Izzy's blog, and here it is:

Give it a quick glance, I think you'll enjoy what you find.
(Yes, I deleted my last post. I forgot that it's the weekend.)
