Why is it half of my posts revolve around me going to some sort of doctors appointment?
If it's not the chiropractor, it's the psychiatrist, or endocrinologist, or family physician.
Today I went to the family physician, and he just gave me the once-over.
The evil doctor's scale told me 119, which was a hallelujah to me.
Today was spent running around getting job applications on my bike.
I got applications to a mailbox place, subway, starbucks, tropical smoothie cafe, a pizza place, and another mail box place.
I could've had a job on the spot at a sub shop, but I had to be 18.
Or else I'm not allowed to use the meat slicer.
What, you think just because I'm 16 I'm more likely to slice my hand off?
(it's true, I would slice my hand off)
My hope is that one of those first four jobs hires me.
I would love to be a Starbucks barista. I would look cute in the outfit.Maybe not with a giant pink head, but close enough, right?
I could also work well at postnet. Here's some boxes, I'll package them for you.
What a hard job!Hopefully my age won't hinder me too badly in my search for a job.
I'm handing in all of my applications when I get back from Tennessee.
My legs are throbbing and I'm still catching my breath. I walked/biked at least 3 miles trying to get these applications.
I also have to go get a work permit/health card if I want to work under the age of 18.
Being young is a b*tch.

Job hunting is the worst. Good luck, girl!
I hope you get a great job. Nice work getting some exercise on your bike, too!
The Starbuck's outfit is WAY cuter than the packaging place! When I was 16 you could get a job ANYWHERE! I swear, I had my first job when I was 14! I sold local newspapers over the phone. Apparently it sucks now-a-days. Have a good time in TN! Shout out to my Grandparents who live in Crossville! Holla'!
i want a job. so bad! i wish i could just get it lickety split. i'm a whole year younger than you and live in a complete suburbia where all of the jobs are already taken my kids my age. how will i ever get one? i'll probably end up working at an ice cream shop over the summer. ha =D
Good luck on the job hunt! You will be awesome as a Starbucks barista.
I used to want to be a barista for starbucks but I found out that they are really select in picking people because they send them to a lot of training to make the drinks and stuff. :(
You have to be 18 to work with out a permit there!? That sucks! I wasn't even 16 when I got my first job. Most places around here just want you to have a driver's license.
Good luck, though!
My first job (and the best ever) was working at a full service car wash. I got to stand outside and get tan, talk to cute boys and wipe down cars. It was a breeze.
I have decided that any job can be fun as long as the people you work with are cool :-)
Sorry I have been MIA on your comment board. I am in a blog funk!
The Coffee or Smoothie places sound the best, just making drinks all day! You need a permit when you are 16?? Wow I never heard of that! But all I did was babysit...but still nope don't think CT has that, Sam worked at a Mini Golf Snack Shack and she was 16.
Good luck with your job hunt. I think it would be really cool to work at Starbucks!
T_T job hunts are a bitch and yeah when you get back we go look some more for apps at places and such
if anything we can get jobs at the mall like the cartoon network cartoon called sixteen lol >_< tho i havnt been 16 in like over seven years O_o oh dear god I'm old T_T
My first job was at a Subway. It wasn't glamorous..but sure was better than some jobs!! Good luck with the job search. It truly can be a daunting task, at times.
Good luck!
Good luck with the job thing. I applied to like 7 places last year and got nothing for the summer. No luck yet this summer either and I'm 18 now.
