I got out some clothes to pack for my trip, but other than that, I haven't done anything amazing.
One of my friends made me less hopeful about those jobs.
I told her I was looking for a job, and the first thing she said was "Tough out there isn't it?"
Then she told me about how I probably won't find a job.
Gee, thanks.
But she's right. I probably won't find a job. I have a limited area that I can search in.
I can only get a job within walking distance, and most of the places within walking distance are either asian restaurants or doctors offices.
Can't work at a doctors office, and I can't work at an asian restaurant.
Oh, and a few cleaners.
But the cleaners are run by asians.
So I really can't win there.
Unless I put tape on my face and slant my eyes, but then I'll just get thrown out for racism.
Woo, racism.
My wrist guard is giving me a rash on my hand, which I think is either from rubbing, or it getting wet.
I have a question for all of you.
Izzy and I are thinking of hosting a giveaway on my blog. One free piece of custom jewelry.
Mostly for the exposure to both of our blogs.
Would you all be interested in something like that?
It would probably center around advertising. Post about the giveaway on your blog, and you get entered.
Does that sound good? I know I don't do many giveaways, and actually having the opportunity would be a good thing.
Izzy is working on making Twilight rosaries. I think they'll be pretty neat.
I just found something pretty funny. My dad kind of throws together gifts for my mom's birthday. He works a lot, so he probably forgets.
Plus my parents are separated, so I guess it's not much of an importance to him.
Well he came in and gave her a mug and an angel.
Which is hilarious, because what did I find on Bobby G's blog today?
He got his girlfriend an angel for her birthday.
Almost the exact one my dad got for my mom.
Here's the one Bobby got:
Here's the one my dad got:Pretty funny, huh?

Oh I love getting my eyebrows waxed! It's just the best feeling ever!
That is funny about your dad getting your mom pretty much the same angel.
I didn't know your parents were separated, I thought they were divorced, how long have they been seperated? I remember when my parents were seperated, I hated it because you didn't know if it was going to be permanent or not! Ugh.
Good luck job hunting! Maybe you should start a blog design company!
I never got my eyebrows waxed when I was younger. Instead I plucked away having no clue what the F I was doing. Now, they refuse to grow back and I am left with sliver eyebrows...I hate that my mom never took me for the first time to have them shaped :(
That is funny about the angels! Good luck w/ the wax!
Cute siggy.
I think the giveaway idea is a good one.
Sorry, I didn't mean to be another "downer" in your search for a job...I just know in my experience that Starbucks was hard to get a job at. Good luck finding one though!!!! How about nannying? Did I say that already? Search craigslist.
LOL about the angels. I think the giveaway is a good idea, I'm doing one at my blog soon too. :)
Ooooh! I love your signature!
I want one of those angels really badly.
A giveaway? Sounds like fun!
I'd be interested in a giveaway. But only if I win. LOL! I haven't won a giveaway yet. :(
I love those angels! The gift shop I used to work at sold them, so I have a nice collection going. Just have to find a place to put them all up and start buying them again.
Very cute signature!
Seriously, good luck with the job search. I hope the perfect job just falls into your lap.
I would be interested!
And I need my brows waxed like nobody's business.
I think the giveaway is an awesome idea and I LOVE Willow Tree figurines!!
I would say if you want to do a giveaway then just do it. I dont think you need to ask anyone if they want you to, everyone likes the chacne to win free stuff!
Love and Prayers,
Tim
P.S. Watch out though because you might get some haters telling you all you do is have giveaways. ;)
I wouldn't give up on the job search. You never know!
I think giveaways are awesome!
I really like those willow tree figurines. They are really cute!
Yikes, hope that wax wasnt too harsh, also thanks for the angel love on your blog! lol
is that signature new? i like it =]
hope the hair cut goes well!
I love the Willow Tree Angels! They're my favorite especially since I collected angels for years, but haven't done any collection for awhile, I'm kind of out of that phase.
I hope you find a job soon! Have you looked into babysitting? Good luck in the job market!
p.s. Giveaways are great, so of course I'll be interested!
I like the giveaway idea and those angels are so cute!
