Today was pretty much the usual.
I went to lunch with a girl named Anna from my history class (which we had a pop quiz in - I totally screwed it up).
Then I went to work, went as usual. 'Til this one little witch decided she wanted to cop an attitude with me.
She started off in a bad mood to begin with, but I was nice as I could be.
Then I asked for her cellphone, which is standard procedure.
People can't have their cellphones, because they could call/text someone for the answer, or use the phone's calculator.
So I ask for her cellphone. "Uh, you can't have my phone."
"Well, we have to take it. You can't have a phone in the test."
"Uh, I can give you the battery."
"No, we need the phone."
"*dirty look* I just do NOT feel comfortable. I'm putting it in my car."
"*still pleasant* Okay. :)"
Seriously, I hate people that cop an attitude for absolutely no reason. It's disrespectful, and you shouldn't be giving attitude to someone that's handling your test.
If I was vindictive I could have easily tossed out her test and said I didn't have it.
I would never do that, but you know what I mean.
My bad mood was lifted when... well two things really, sort of interconnected.
A.) There EMT trainees had this meeting in a room near our center, and had to wait outside for an hour before it. This is what a lot of them look like, more or less:Yeah. Some serious eye candy.
B.) This EMT walked in and came up to my desk and asked where room D101 was. I looked over at the 100 or so paramedics and went "Umm... probably over there."
He started laughing and said thanks. He was probably embarassed. It was really funny to me. Giant group of obvious EMTs and he didn't see it.
Classic.
Now I'm going to bed... so, yeah. Sleep! Woo!

Yeah...As a telemarketer I get some people on the phone sometimes that are rude for no reason. Only one person stands out in particular, like your lil witch. This one guy kept telling me to speak english the whole time and kept saying rudely that maybe I should try speaking slower and that he couldn't hear me. And then he announced that he just couldn't stand me and wasn't going to stay on the phone listening to garbage so he hung up. HALFWAY through the phone call. Like if he was going to hang up without letting me finish he at least could have done it after I announced where I was calling from like normal people. And seriously, everyone else could understand me. And the only language I can speak is english. I was born and raised in the US with US born parents lol. Sorry for the whole comment rant, but I can completely sympathize with rude people at work...
*Gasp*! Were they all in uniform?!!? I would have been in heaven!
Yeah, I don't get it. People can go one of two ways: be pleasant, or be rude. Why do people choose to be rude for no reason?
Ohhh hotties! That helps make up for crappy people during the day that is for sure!
What is it w/ chicks & firemen & EMTS?
Hahaha! I love your sense of humor with the EMT guy!
My husband is an EMT. I think he might need to work out a bit more, after looking at that picture.
okay, I stared at that pic for like ten minutes. Legit. My jaw would have dropped if I saw a group of guys like that.haha
