My teacher was absent again today.
It was okay, though. He got a sub for us this time.
The sub was the head of the Journalism Department. And he is awesome.
For the first class, we just went over the syllabus and blah blah blah. I did get my laptop to connect to the internet, though. So I had fun discreetly chatting on MSN.
The second class was the radio production class. Apparently, to gain entry to the station, we have to have a "badge". I have one. I feel awesome.
He told us that we have access to the sound studio from 9-4:30 Monday-Friday. He said we can bring our own music and play with the sound boards.
We're allowed to make a demo tape of everything that we mix to use with our resume wherever we go.
He also taught us how to use basic features on the board.
For one of our projects we bring in our own CD with our favorite music and record ourselves DJing, like the morning DJs on the radio.
We spent the day mixing 70s music with PSAs. So the guy was yelling about tornadoes dramatically while "Stayin' Alive" was playing. It was hilariously wrong.
This class is going to be fun.
I bought new acne medication today. Hoping it will help, because my skin has gotten kind of bad again. I also bought Hello Kitty bandaids because I got a booboo. (FREAKING PAPERCUT IN THE CREASE OF MY KNUCKLE).
Silly bandaids are the only real way to heal booboos.

I'm glad the class seems like it will be fun.
Papercuts are the worst! I'm glad that school has gotten a little better for you. :)
Have you tried Proactiv? I swear by it.
That class sounds fun!
What acne med. did you buy? I tried Proactiv and it KILLED my face.
Radio sounds fun! I had planned on moving to Seattle after high school to take radio and video classes to, ultimately, learn how to work in a recording studio. Obviously never happened, but...
Hope you have fun, though. I may have to talk Hubby into moving to Vegas. :)
That radio class sounds really funnn! & I love hello kitty. =]
Why didn't I have fun classes like then when I was in school? I totally missed out. :o(
