I'm not getting paid for my dad's website, so technically I'm working hard for the recognition.
Works for me.
I've been having trouble getting the site off the ground.
We have about 300 fans on facebook, but we need more.
We need people that will read the site and really enjoy it.
The good thing is that yesterday, for whatever reason, there was a massive jump in hits.
Went from about 30 hits to 170.
Still nowhere near what you'd like for a website, but to go from 30 to 170 in a one day period is pretty good.

When we went to my dad's party on Saturday he had me be his photographer.
You can see the pictures I took in the slideshow here:
Our Town
I'm really hoping we can consistently get the hits up. That way we can get advertising, and start bringing in some money.
Remember the pastel portrait that's being done for me?
He's already started working on it and sent me a picture of it in progress.
I posted it on facebook, so if you have me you can see it. I won't post it here since a lot of artists don't want their not finished work out in public.
But I'll show you some pictures I took today while waiting for the dishwasher repair guy to come (1-4 my ASS. It's 3:45 and he's not here.)

I think it's awesome you are working so hard to help your dad.
I will have to check out your dad's sight. Now you need to start a photography blog and post all your pics!!
Oh yeah I forgot to tell you my friend Jeanne got me that shirt you're wearing after she saw it on your blog!!
I clicked over. It was fun to read your dad's version of the two of you going to the movies!
Good work! Also, I could only see your first picture, but I love your ring!!
The site will do well, just give it time :)
Next time I login to facebook I'll check that picture out too. I just logged out and am heading to bed.
I'm glad your dad's site seems to be working out thus far! I hope you guys start making money off of it soon!
I hope the repairman showed up!
It takes a long time for sites to get popular - but I hope it works out for your dad soon!
Glad that your Dad's site is starting to do well! I hope it continues!
