New Layout - Octopuuuuuuuuus!

I decided to take a page out of Erin's book and went with an ocean creature layout.
The one difference from my usual layouts?
My picture isn't in the header!
I've grown so used to it that I figured it was time for a change.

The background took FOR-EV-ER.
Why?
Because I put each bubble in by hand, piece by piece, across the entire background.
I wanted them to all fit together perfectly instead of looking sloppy.

Of course the cute little octopus is out of season.
A scarf, during the summer? How uncouth.

I was tempted to put my head on a mermaid's body, but gimmicks like that don't really look good to me.
But a turtle's body, that's something I'd do!Lookit meee, I'm a turtleeeee!

Today Izzy is coming over, and then we're going with the guys to bowl and go to an arcade.
Last time we went, we spent all of our tokens on skeeball.
Skeeball is addicting for me. And I don't even know why.
It's so easy to mess up when you're playing that game.
Although I guess if you play it enough and develop some talent, it can be truly addicting.
I still have my tickets from last time at the arcade, so I'm hoping that this time I can earn enough to get a pink tweety bird.Who can resist a sparkly tweety bird?
Uh, no one!
Except I'll probably end up getting the blue one.

I'm hoping to get over 10 comments on this post. I really like getting more comments.
It's an addiction really. I check my email all the time to see how many comments I've gotten.
If I've gotten one, I feel giddy inside.
Hopefully Drew will get to feel that way through his blogging.

Also, now that I've removed my acrylic nails, I'll be able to bowl without a constant fear of ripping of my actual fingers nails.
It's very scary trying to bowl with acrylic nails. You never know if you're going to rip them off or not.

We were also planning on going to Olive Garden tomorrow, but we don't have the money for that.
I'm going to get some cash from my mom, but that would never cover an olive garden meal.

Hopefully today goes well, and if it doesn't, you guys will be the first to hear about it.
After all, you always are. Also, please visit Drew's blog:

Hey! Comment numero uno!

I like skee ball too, my kids cant seem to figure it out yet. It does take some really good aim.

I cant wait to see your vlogemo this week, I have missed seeing it as Im sure have others.

So what is the deal with Shelby? You didnt say anything about it, or is it just a sensitive subject now? If so, Im sorry for asking.

Love and Prayers,

Tim

Did you go in to remove the nails or did you do the at home approach like I said? What I found that coolio website, LOL! How is the whole SHelby thing?
I like the turtle pic it is so cute! I know I get so sad when I have so few comments, especially on the posts I really work hard on, that is when it really bites!:)

So I also am addicted to getting comments, but I hate throw away comments like "Nice layout" or some BS like that, it needs to be legit!

Very cute new layout! It is probably much colder in the ocean depths so scarves really never go out of season for octopusses hehe. I hope you have fun tonight on your double date bowling and at the arcade. :)

Comment #7! Three more to go! I LOVE skeeball as well! I think the reason I like it is because I always do mediocre but still get tons of tickets! If an arcade does not have skeeball, I am outta there! I like the octopus. For us in Detroit it represents a kick ass hockey season, which we are in the midst of now. There will be plenty of octopi thrown onto the ice during these last few games of the playoffs. I'm glad things with Shelby were a misunderstanding...it sucks to wonder and worry. I remember a couple of break-ups with friends when I was younger, they almost seemed worse than a relationship break-up.

I love the turtle picture--it made me laugh!!

I too get addicted to skeeball. There is something about it.

Have fun bowling. I am glad that you don't have to worry about ripping your fingernails off!!

Was it as hard as you thought to get the nails off?

I love your new background. What a cute idea to go with the octopus. And the bubbles are so fun - I'm impressed you did the whole thing by hand.

I love the new layout! That color blue is so pretty and the octopus is so cute! It was a nice surprise visiting your blog and seeing the new layout. (Not that your last layout wasn't nice, I mean, all your layouts have been nice but new ones are always fun to see)
