I was in 4 states.
Started in New Mexico, went through Texas, then Oklahoma, and now I'm in Arkansas.
We're at a Holiday Inn.
I went swimming to get some exercise, and that was nice.
Except the pool had a nasty amount of chlorine in it.
Speaking of nasty, my skin decided it'd be fun to break out like hell. Thanks, skin.
Are you not aware of the big party I have to go to on Saturday?
I guess you want me to look terrible.
It's embarrassing, being seen like that.
It gives people the impression that I'm unclean.
Especially since I haven't been wearing makeup on the trip.
Got any tips on getting rid of this monster breakout from the inner pits of hell?
Cuz that'd be great.
I commented your blogs, since I got some nice hotel internet. Score!
I may not be as able to comment when I get in to Huntingdon (where my grandparents live.)
We're staying at a hotel there, and it's kind of older, so they probably don't have wifi.
But if they do, it'll be really nice.
Tiffany is still doing well. She puked once tonight, but she was in the car for 14 hours and ate a lot when we finally let her out. So it's understandable.
She's calm during the car ride, unlike ya'lls cats apparently. She doesn't yowl, or vomit, or poo.
My mom tells me to check on Tiffany, so I look back and say "You okay Tiffy?" "Meow." "Okay, love you."
We have about 5-6 hours left of driving, and then we're at my Grandparents. My brothers and sisters are coming in this week, so we'll all be one big happy family.
I hope everything keeps going so smoothly.
And I hope my skin gets smooth again!

Good luck on your skin.. the only thing I recommend is rubbing alcohol. I have heard toothpaste works well, too.
I have tried toothpaste on big ones, you feel a tingling.
I hope you have a great reunion with your family and take lots of pics!!
Sorry...I have no good advice for you. Good luck. Hope you have fun with your family...you must be so glad most of the driving is over!
Four states - Have you still been collecting postcards?
It will be interesting to be in such a small town once you finally get there. Especially compared to LV. Is it going to be a bit of culture shock?
I hate breakouts! Good luck dear.
Oh, I am so sorry about your face breaking out! I have that happen when I travel!
Although they say the toothpaste is a myth, I have tried it and would try it in a jam. Ice would help with redness and swelling and if you have any hydrogen peroxide you can try that too. I don't want to offend you at all but have you considered birth control for the skin issues. I don't think you look bad at all but if it's that bothersome...I know you don't need the BC for other reasons and maybe it's a stretch...seems crazy now that I think about it but they say it helps?
Damn girl, this is like that movie vacation! Cross country Hijinks!
Have you tried any acne prescriptions from a dermatologist? A combo of Differin and Clindamycin Phosphate lotion has definitely transformed my skin.
Man oh man, sorry about the break out. My face always breaks out when I travel. Goes great with the frizzy hair that usually follows. What can I say..my fickle hair and skin get used to my soft water.
Yay for WiFi! :) I hope the next hotel has it for ya too or at least a place where you can hook up to it in the lobby or something.
My skin has been breaking out a lot lately too, and nothing is working - it is so annoying! I've tried everything, so if you find something good to use let me know too! :)
I hope you have a great time with the family and you will so be the hottest girl there even with the breakouts :)
Yay for WiFi!! And I am So sorry about the breakout!! Try putting some ice on them. That has worked for me before.
Stupid zits, wish I had a miracle cure but I don't. I'm glad Tiffany is handling things! My cats freak whenever they go on a car ride!
Ack! I hate it when i break out. It does give the impression that you're dirty but there's nothing you can really do about it. It may be from traveling. Zits are mostly caused by bacteria. so try putting some rubbing alcohol on them. that's what my aunt and my mom do and their skin is fantastic. I'm too lazy but that's just me.
Sorry about the breakout. I remember those days! I hope it gets better soon!
Do you have rubbing alcohol availiable? That'll help dry out some of it. Toothpaste is another good one.
Hope your skin clears up soon. It's no fun to have breakouts to ruin a fun trip. :(
Poor thing, you're wicked stressed about stupid family member aren't ya?
