It's that I had absolutely no internet, and so I really had no WAY of blogging.
Yesterday we left Tennessee.
For those of you that asked, we were in Huntingdon, TN. That's where my grandparents live.
I stayed in the hotel room all day on Saturday, as you all know.
I thought when I went to sleep that night, I'd wake up and feel better.
Ha. Hahaha. Ha.
Yeah, God had other plans for me.
I woke up shivering and unable to swallow without immense pain. But luckily, my mom pumped me full of pills and we packed up the car and left.
We drove up to see my grandparents, and I gave them a wave goodbye.
They're very old, and I'm sure the flu wouldn't do them any good. I wasn't going to risk it.
We drove on and on, hoping to get to Okahoma City.
Which is exactly where we made it to.
We stayed at a Best Western, which we were very hesitant to do.
They used to be our favorite chain, but every time we stayed at one on this trip, something was wrong with it.
The first one? The air conditioning was god-awful loud.
The second one? The electricity went out, and it was over-priced.
And this last one? The air condition was GOD-AWFUL LOUD.
First we were excited when we walked in the room. They had told us it was a $130 dollar room, but we got a special rate, and so it was knocked down to $75.
Score, right?
We walk in, and it's niiiice. But of course, looks are just for show. That night, trying to fall asleep, the air conditioner kept us awake the entire time.
I woke up from my 5 minutes of sleep hoping I felt better.
Except the crippling stomach pain and massive migraine told me nope, I wasn't better.
I had real trouble in the car, but eventually the meds kicked in and I felt a little better.
Gotta love those meds.
We stopped at a massive Indian store, and I picked up a few little gifts for friends.
I can't tell you what I got Izzy, because she reads my blog and they're a surprise.
But I got Drew some chocolate rocks.
Those things are freaking delicious. I figured he'd like them.
Then we stopped somewhere else and I bought my dad some fudge, and I bought Travis a small gift.
Then I went to sleep, felt totally nauseous, and we had to stop at a hotel.
So we're in the hotel now, and mom is out getting us Denny's. I'm just getting a salad.
Wanna see something cute?
Here's Tiffany after we drugged her for the car ride this morning:Her poor little tongue just would not stay in her mouth, no matter how hard she tried.
Now we're in Grants, New Mexico. We'll be back home tomorrow.
I'm having chest pains.
Fun.

i hope you feel better soon!
That room does look nice!
A salad Le, when you are nauseous and have stomach pains?? NO!! You should be looking for a Walk-In Clinic! This does not sound normal!! Is your Mom making you see a doc when you get home? PLEASE go if she doesn't!!
Hope you feel better soon! I wouldn't mind the loud air conditioner, I like to sleep to white noise!
Damn girl, feel better soon!!!! That cat looks in bad shape lol, poor tiffany...
Oh Lee I sure hope you feel better soon, I will keep you in my prayers.
Love and Prayers,
Tim
I hope you feel better and the meds work so you don't suffer anymore on the trip. Traveling while sick or with awful period cramps is the worse - and if both at the same time... oh God is that hell! LOL Tiffany looks so adorable.
You must be home now! I'm glad you survived. Are you feeling better now?
Aww, pooor kitty cat. :(
Hope you get to feeling better soon. The flu sucks!
