Hannah Montana: The Movie

I never thought I'd be caught dead at Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Since I've been asked a few times to give my opinion on it, I will gladly oblige.

First things first, here is a summary of the movie (look at me getting all professional and shiz):
Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana has lived her life as a normal girl that lives out her dream as a popstar when she puts on a wig and lots of makeup and crap.
(No one said my summary would be professional, it's just the truth.)
One day, because her publicist thinks she's god or something, she gives Miley a big head and while she is disguised as Hannah Montana she gets into a shoe fight with Tyra Banks. They both want the same shoes, they wrestle, sh*t gets crazy.
After this, her dad thinks that she's let Hannah become too dominant in her life and her and her family go to Tennessee to be with family for two weeks to see if she still has the country girl side to her.

Okay, that's the basic plot. She's got multiple personalities (eek, get some meds for that girl), and needs some sense knocked into her.
That being said, the show itself has been popular with 6-12 year olds. So, as expected, when I showed up the theatre was overun with little kids.
I literally was one of the only teenagers in the room. Whenever one walked in I went "LOOK DAD, THERE'S ANOTHER ONE!!!"
But, the movie itself was actually really cute.
My dad didn't fall asleep during it. He even fell asleep during James Bond, so that's a good sign.
He said that it was cute and "watchable".
I really liked the music from it. Some of the music at least. The scene where she does this hoe-down that's also hip-hop is really cute.

There are some parts that adults would just roll their eyes at. I did. I rolled my eyes.
But there's some other scenes that adults would laugh at just as much as the kids.
The scene where Miley's father is trying to impress a girl and ends up breaking everything is really funny.

If you don't like teenager romance stuff, you probably would roll your eyes a LOT at this movie. She has a love interest that is present throughout the whole movie.
Plus the heartwarming stuff can be a bit bleh at times, but that's for MOST Disney movies.

All in all, it's a cute movie and it's worth taking the kids to go see. If someone asked me to see it again, I wouldn't say no.
Plus I like free movies.
Totally counting that as my "current" pic since I just took those pictures.
Definitely like the brunette one better.

About the psychologist... I'm going to one more session. If she tries to diagnose me bipolar again, I'm switching to someone else. She's REALLY sweet, but sweet doesn't mean she can help me in the areas I need help.

p.s. SOMEONE PLEASE TEACH ME HOW TO TWITTER! I'M A QUICK LEARNER!

I forgot to mention the bipolar thing, which is very strange, and not a measure of a great psychologist.

And I have a post about this movie, in the works, so stay tuned.

Twitter seem so lame, have you seen the spoofs of them? HILarious!

I SO want to see the movie, yeah I am lame, oh well!

I don't see how she can diagnose you as bipolar from talking to you once. I had to take tests and describe feelings before I was diagnosed. There isn't anything wrong with being bipolar just so you know, and if you are diagnosed by someone who actually does the tests and just doesn't decide in 10 minutes, then it will be okay, really. I am type 2, but I swing more towards the depressive side, less of the manic.

I think my mom is bipolar. I have some wonderful stories from my childhood that scream BIPOLAR MOTHER! lol

I'm on Twitter! It's easy. It's like the Facebook status thing. I have a friend here in my town who blogs and is constantly updating her Facebook status ... but then she blogs about how silly Twitter is and that she will never join. LOL!

Even my cat Spaz is on Twitter! :D

Um, I totally don't know what I'm doing with twitter. I just signed up for it two days ago to try and participate in the whole chick chat twitter party and I failed miserably.
